This bike, originally sold as a rigid mountain bike at REI in the 90s, has been kept in great condition and recently tuned up and uppdated for relaxed, comfortable riding on mixed terrain. With an aluminum frame, it's fairly light but with a wide tire clearance and cushy new tires that will easily take on bumps in thte city streets and gravel trails. It has eyelets for fenders if you might be riding in the rain, has been updated with sweptback bars for an upright riding position, and has an excellent gear range for climbing Seattle hills.
This one doesn't thave optimal mounts for front or rear racks so it's not quite a supercommuter or bikepacking bike, but can be outfitted with bike bags and bottle cages for carrying some belongings, or racks/baskets could be mounted to fender eyelets/with c-clamps or the front brake arms if you're really keen for some light on-bike carrying capacity.

Good fit for someone about 5'6”-5'9" or so, depending on proportions
By our standard measurements it is a 49 cm frame (center of bottom bracket to center of top tube), however isnce the seat tube extends a bit beyond the top tube, the center of the seat clamp actually sits at 55cm from the center of the bottom bracket, so it's closer to what we'd usually call a 53cm and have listed as such.)
