Rare 1987 hybrid bike by Specialized. They're well known for their HardRock, RockHopper, and StumpJumper rigid mountain bikes of that era, which are a cult favorite for converting into city cruiser bikes with upright bars and baskets. The StreetStomper was only made for one year, but the design was more tailored to this type of use that's so popular today, making this bike a sought after collector's item.
It's a sturdy steel bike that's great for city cruising, and even some gravel and trail riding. It's got city tires with reflelctive sidewalls for safety and just enough heft for a cushy ride where you're not feeling all the bumps in the road. It could easily fit fenders if you plan to ride in the rain, and you can load up the rear rack with bags for commuting, touring or bikepacking, plus it has eyelets to mount a front rack and/or basket. It's a versatile bike, and the long chainstays make it especially stable for carrying loads.
We haven't worked on it yet, so it's not as polished up as it will be, but it was kept in great shape by the previous owner. It will take a week or so for us to prep it for a test ride for you if you book an appointment to come check it out, and we'll wait until we have a buyer to make significant changes/customizations/upgrades to make sure we are doing the work to the next rider's specifications.
The price is for a tuned up and working bike - we'll replace parts that need replacing while we tune it up, which is all included in the price. Added upgrades/customizations are totally doable, but will add to the final price. You'll probably want to update the contact points (saddle, grips, pedals) to suit your preferences, and might like to add things like fenders, a basket, and accessories such as a bell and/or bike bags.

Wheels/tires
26 inch wheelset with Araya aluminum rims, Sansin hubs, and 26x1.4" Michelin city Protec plus tires with reflective sidewalls. Schraeder valves. The were somewhat recently replaced by the previvous owner and have lots of life left.
Saddle, Seatpost
Original seatpost, silver, and cushioned black TricoSports saddle. Quick release seatpost clamp.
Accessories/upgrades
Comes with rear silver Blackburn rack and 2 silver Blackburn bottle cages with pink rubber edges - original accessories from the prior owner.
Pedals
We take pedals off for storage but will include basic flat pedals depending on what we have available at the time of sale, or you can customize the bike with nice MKS pedals, for instance.
