This bike, originally sold as a rigid mountain bike in the 90s, was well loved by it's previous owner before finding its way to us. It had a lot of customizations, but we reset it with our popular, comfortably upright build style for cruising around the city and hitting some trails. It's well suited to Seattle, with eyelets for mounting fenders, and a wide gear range to climb hills with ease and go faster when you want to.

With a steel frame, ample tire clearance, and rack mounting points in both front and rear ot help you carry your gear, this would also make a great commuter or bikepacking/touring/bike camping bike.

It has some carbon wraps around the top tube, down tube, and seat tube of the frame, giving it more of a stealth look by covering large/obvious logos. We don't know the previous owners reasons for doing this besides aesthetics, but we decided to leave them on, since removal would likely damage the decals underneath.

All of the bikes we sell come with a 30 day mechanical guarantee. If you're interested in test riding this one, feel free to schedule and appointment with Summer or Chris here!

Size

Good fit for someone about 5'5”-5'9" or so, depending on proportions
By our standard measurements it is a 50 cm frame (center of bottom bracket to center of top tube) and the seat clamp is about 53cm from the center of the bottom bracket.
58 cm reach (top tube length)
79.5cm/31.25" standover height (we recommend about 1-2" of standover clearance for a comfortable fit)
Current stem length: about 4" reach and 4" rise at current height (adjustable up/down a bit)
Bars have about a 7" sweep and 4" rise.

Green Giant Mountain bike frame with original dealer sticker from Marina Cyclery in 1994. After market black carbono wraps. Some custom decals from previous owner (Stephen Slater sticker, and a Norfolk VA license.
Black fork was likely an updated component by previous owner.
Bike has eyelets and mounts for fenders and front and rear racks.
Steel frame, designed in USA by Giant.
Carbon wrap may cover damaged decals, we aren't sure. The frame is used but in good working structural condition.
Right chainstay has some chain wear - we plan to wrap it for protection.
