Vintage early 90s rigid mountain bike by Trek, back when they made their bikes in the USA. It's a sturdy lugged steel bike that's great for gravel and trail riding, or just bumpy city streets. It's got knobby trail tires on it right now but you could swap tires for something a bit smoother if you plan to ride mostly on roads. It could easily fit fenders if you plan to ride in the rain, and you can load it up with a rear rack and bags for commuting, touring or bikepacking - it's a versatile bike!
We haven't worked on it yet, so it's not as polished up as it will be, but it was kept in great shape and barely ridden by the previous owner. It will take a week or so for us to prep it for a test ride for you if you book an appointment to come check it out, and we'll wait until we have a buyer to make significant changes/customizations/upgrades to make sure we are doing the work to the next rider's specifications.
The price is for a tuned up and working bike - we'll replace parts that need replacing while we tune it up, which is all included in the price. Added upgrades/customizations are totally doable, but will add to the final price. You could change the stem and handlebars to fine tune it for your body size/proportions, and add things like fenders, a rear rack, etc.

Good fit for someone about 5'3"-5'5" or so, depending on proportions

Frame
Lugged steel frame, made with True Temper Double Butted Chromoly in the USA. Glossy black paint job in excellent shape, with neon yellow accents.
2 bottle cage mounts.
Eyelets/braze-ons on frame and fork for mounting fenders and/or a rear rack. Lots of tire clearance for big tires and/or fenders.

Drivetrain
3x7 speed with Suntour drivetrain - Suntour X1 rear derailleur, Suntour XC front derailleur, and Suntour X1 triple crankset with Suntotur PowerRing chainrings.
Currently paired with Shimano Deore thumb/trigger shifters.
Great gearing for going up and down Seattle hills.
Headset, stem, handlebars, brakes
Black headset, black Sakae riser quill stem with a cable stop, black flat bars. Black Dia Compe X1 cantilever rim brakes and matching brake levers. Black Axiom rubber grips.
Wheels/tires
26 inch wheelset with Matrix made in USA aluminum rim brake rims, Suntour hubs, and 26x2.0" Matrix knobby trail tires. Presta valves. The tires are old but do seem to have some life left in them - a decent thing to leave on if you plan to mostly ride trails, otherwise we recommend replacing them.
Saddle, Seatpost
Original seatpost, silver, and cushioned black Matrix saddle. Quick release seatpost clamp.

We take pedals off for storage but will include basic flat pedals depending on what we have available at the time of sale.
