Test Ride Appointments

We offer test rides on bikes we have for sale! We recommend trying a bike out before you buy it locally, or you can order them online for pickup or shipping. You can book your test ride appointment here.

We also sell locks, lights, gloves, helmets, hats, water bottles etc. to help you get equipped to ride your new bike!

Bike Customization

We love customizing bikes to help ensure your bike suits your needs and is comfortable to ride. Whether it's a bike you own, one of our bikes for sale, or a complete custom build from a frame, we're excited to get folks excited about biking and properly equipped, especially for commuting, touring and bikepacking.

Customizations often include:

  • Changing out handlebars, stem, grips or saddle for more comfortable riding
  • Swapping tires to handle different types of terrain
  • Adding fenders and lights to ride year-round and at night
  • Adding racks, baskets, and bike bags to carry your belongings for commuting, touring and bikepacking
  • Updating gear ratios to suit your riding preferences on hills

Book an appointment for a customization consultation with Summer to have a chat over coffee at the shop about your build, and bring the bike if you have it.

Bike Service

Note from 7/7/2025:

We are currently closed for bike maintenance.

We are shifting our focus as a shop to align with our passion for restoring and customizing vintage bikes, and doing custom builds for folks getting into using bikes as transportation for commuting, bike touring and bikepacking.

Due to this shift and our limited space and labor capacity, we are not taking appointmnets or walk-ins for bike maintenance. If you happen to come by while Chris is in the shop (Fridays through Mondays 7am-2pm) for something urgent such as a flat tire on your way to work, he may be able to help you. For service beyond that, we'll direct you to another local bike shop.

If you've already booked an appointment with Chris or he's currently working on your bike, we'll still honor that.

Bikes we've sold or previously serviced are covered under our 30 day mechanical guarantee, so feel free to come back for help if you're experiencing any issues with our recent work on your bike.

Our Specialty

Our primary focus as a bike shop is restoring and customizing vintage bikes. We set bikes up for casual rides, commuting, touring, trail riding, bike camping and bikepacking. We have a rotating selection of vintage bikes available for sale, and you're welcome to bring your own vintage bike in for customization as well. Whenever possible, we love to share about the history and craftsmanship that went into these bikes, and help you care for them for decades to come.

We do also sell some new bikes that we feel will be the vintage of the future, from brands like Rivendell, Soma, Surly, and what's left of All-City. We can order "complete" bikes with stock parts for quicker turnaround and more affordability, however we tend to prefer building bikes from the frame up. Our custom builds are informed by our study of past decades of bikes - we tend to steer clear of passing trends and cheap components, typically favoring vintage parts where possible, and durable, high quality new parts where needed.
